Landscape Workshop would like to welcome a new team member, Adam Sleeper, as our Maintenance Division’s Enhancement & Irrigation Manager. In this role, Adam will manage the enhancement and irrigation operations of the branch, including ensuring project completion and quality, assisting with estimation, and securing materials. To build and strength relationships with Landscape Workshop customers, he will also be responsible for conducting regular site visits. Adam has eight years of green industry experience and achieved both his Bachelor’s and Master’s of Science, Horticulture, from Auburn University. Welcome to the team, Adam!
Landscape Workshop would like to welcome Patrick Tillman to our Construction Division as the team’s new Estimator. In this role, Patrick will be responsible for reviewing plans and preparing bid information for landscape and irrigation construction projects. Patrick attended Auburn University, where he received his Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Design as well as his Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture. Following college graduation, he attended Gainesville State College, where he received his GIS certification. We’re excited to have you as part of our growing team, Patrick. We are pleased to announce the promotions of three of our team members, Grant Hobin, Jamie Milton, and Keith Wickham, to the role of General Manager. As General Managers, they are responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of their respective offices, including leading workplace safety, branch office profit and loss statement ownership, technician and staff development, inventory, and route management.
Grant Hobin has been promoted to the role of Birmingham General Manager. Grant has been with SUI for over 11 years and has held a number of roles including Technician, Calibrated Trainer, and Corporate Training Instructor. Grant looks forward to working with the winning team at the Birmingham Office. He has been developing team members for a number of years and hopes to use his skills to help all Birmingham team members become even more successful. Prior to joining SUI, Grant worked in residential construction in the Adirondack Mountains and in commercial construction across the Greater Birmingham area. Grant attended Colgate University and the State University of New York.
Jamie Milton has been promoted to the role of Crestview General Manager. As the new GM of the Crestview Office, Jamie is excited for the opportunity to play an even larger role within the organization. He looks forward to building up Crestview’s technicians and assisting them in achieving their goals and long-term success with SUI. Jamie joined the SUI family in 2010 as a technician and was quickly promoted to Field Service Manager. As FSM of the Crestview Office, Jamie was able to work with a team that won Office of the Year multiple times, and he frequently assisted other branch offices in need of support and training. Jamie now plans to lead his team to Office of the Year 2016. Prior to joining SUI, Jamie worked in retail management and in the construction industry as a Project Manager. Jamie attended the University of New Orleans and is a diehard LSU fan.
Keith Wickham has been promoted to the role of Huntsville General Manager. Keith has worked in the Telecommunications Industry for over 20 years and has spent the last 12 years as a part of the SUI family. During his 12 years with SUI, he has worked as a Technician, Field Service Manager, Office Manager, and Corporate Training Instructor. Keith is most excited for the challenge of taking the Huntsville team to the top of the pack and becoming the Lead Dog office at SUI, and he looks forward to working with Huntsville’s senior tech force and developing new up-and-coming Technicians.

Landscape Workshop would like to welcome our newest Account Manager for our Memphis, Tennessee, team, Beau Farmer. In this role, Beau will report to our Memphis General Manager and will be responsible for managing the maintenance crews and customer relationships for a portfolio of commercial landscape maintenance accounts in the Memphis area.
Beau has multiple years in the green industry as well as a Bachelor’s degree from The University of Mississippi, where he majored in Park & Recreation Management and minored in Business Administration. Welcome to the team, Beau!
We’re excited to share that McKinney Capital placed 4th in the large employer category at the Birmingham Business Journal’s 2016 Best Places to Work awards! This marks McKinney Capital’s second year as a finalist in the awards. Thirty-five finalist companies were honored at an awards luncheon at The Club. Finalists were selected based on results from an employee opinion survey conducted by Quantum Workplace.
The survey measures a wide range of research-validated workplace factors that impact employee engagement and satisfaction. Metrics measured include trust in leadership, risk retention, and team effectiveness. Over 90% of qualifying local employees at McKinney Capital and portfolio companies Digital Electronic Supply, Landscape Workshop, Pixsys Technologies, and Satellites Unlimited participated in the survey.
