J.T. Price is the CEO of McKinney Capital and its portfolio company Landscape Workshop. Before joining McKinney Capital, J.T. was a principal at a New York-based middle-market private equity firm, a partner at a regional investment bank leading the restructuring practice, and an engagement manager at McKinsey & Company. His philosophy on life and business, which is also the best advice he has been given, is to do the right thing, right away.
J.T. holds a BA from the University of Richmond and a JD from Harvard Law School, where he was executive editor of the Harvard Journal of Law and Public Policy. After law school, J. T. served as law clerk to U.S. District Court Judge Terrence W. Boyle.
J.T. is a member of the Rotary Club of Birmingham, serves on the Board and Executive Committee of the Public Affairs Research Council of Alabama, was the 2014 Chairman of the PARCA Roundtable, and was the 2014 President of the Alabama chapter of the Turnaround Management Association. He also serves on the Board of Directors for Urgent Care for Children, a McKinney Capital investment. Outside of work, J.T. enjoys reading, running, and spending time with his family.
